When Ford introduced the 2005 body style, Tom had to have one. When he was in high school, Tom always wanted a Mustang but could not afford it (not even close). When the gas crisis hit in the early 70's, Ford shrunk the Mustang into an economy car and it never got big enough for Tom until 2005. This is the car he ordered when he was 17 and it finally arrived!
The car is a GT and Tom made a number of modifications. He had custom 18" wheels, wide tires, Steeda suspension, springs (lowered), exhaust, cold air induction, bra, bullit grill and custom spoiler. Tom also added a roll bar. He doesn't plan on using this! After re-chipping the engine, the car probably gets around 345 HP, although he has not put it on a Dyno. Now Tom finally has a Mustang!
