My name is Cody and this is my 2002 Mustang GT Convertible, premium with every option under the sun. My Mustang passion began when my father purchased his 1970 Boss 302 during the early 90's. I was only 6-7, but I loved the way the car looked, sounded and smelled. I loved everything about it. Then when I was 14 my dad bought me my first car, a worn down 1966 Mustang coupe with the 289 small block V8. A beautiful car that heand I could work on together. I took over the project that winter and didn't have a clue how to restore a car, let alone a Mustang. But after many countless nights of reading shop manuals and online forums, I took a swing at fixin' the car up. It took me all winter but I restored the interior of the car and made the body smoother than glass. The inside of the car looked as if it had rolled off the showroom floor. Then that spring I totalled it...enough said. My dad had the GT a few months earlier to use for real estate and driving customers around. After I had wrecked my car, and he saw how I was desperately trying to sell anything of value to build her back again, he decided to give me the GT as a Christmas present. The happiest day of my life and I'll hold on to the car for as long as I live. Being the youngest member of the club I often feel out of place, but in the end we are all car people, and owning a car like mine buys you a small piece of classic American automotive history.
