Number 3 was Number 44

This little coupe is Dale and Judy's third Mustang, but the 44th one an older gentleman named Paige Elliott restored to life. Paige restored and gave new life to lots of Mustangs and pleasure to many Mustangs enthusiasts. Paige died this past winter and this was his last Mustang to complete; he was 84. Paige lived in Mountain Home and restoring Mustangs was his hobby. He was pretty much a perfectionist and only restored '65's and '66's. When he finished a restoration, everything worked and was in good shape. He also kept an album with pictures of his restorations, which he would proudly show anyone interested. He left his wife a beautiful '65 red convertible with a white top.

Dale and Judy bought the Mustang from Paige in May 2002, and have used it as a daily driver ever since. This is Dale's primary car and is driven to work daily and goes everywhere he goes. The first modification made was a 4V Edlebrock, electronic ignition, AM/FM cassette and air conditioning. Later, dual exhaust with Flow Master mufflers was added. Dale recently had the C4 transmission refreshed, completely overhauled the 289 and added a limited slip differential. Yes, this is a two tone and not a vinyl roof. It has a white top and the rest is in twilight blue, which is the color code in the VIN. Dale and Judy also have a '70 silver Boss 302 and a Grabber Blue with blue pearl '70 fastback with a 2X4V Cobra Jet.
