This is Brent and Karin's 1969 Mach I. Brent is a TVMFC member in the U.S. Air Force at Mountain Home AFB. Here are his comments about his pony:
This is my 1969 Mustang Mach I which I purchased 2 years ago in Washington state. It has a 351C with a T-5 transmission. The car is in work status. I have already added some goodies to include the T-5 modification. I recently put a power brake system with front disc from Master Power Brakes. I also installed a hydraulic clutch system from JMC. The interior is almost finished, only requiring new deluxe door panels and center console new items. It has the rear fold down backseat, original hood scoop, deluxe interior group, GT suspension package, and rocker molds down the sides.
I called the Ford "History 999" for VIN info. They send me all the factory options and found out that it is 1 of 4995 cars built to its specific code. I installed the Z-racing 15X7 Type 88 rims on it, purchased from Sears with 255/60R15 Goodyear Eagle GT+4's. I also installed the Edelbrock RPM intake for the Cleveland, using the 2V heads and converting it to a 750cfm Edelbrock carburetor. I still have a ways to go, but it has been a good rolling project for me. I also took 2nd at the Gowen car show (which is pictured) in the Best in Progress category. I also attended the 19th Annual Treasure Valley Mustang Show. More to come when I get more funds. I also own a 1987 Mustang GT.
