| Before Restoration | After Restoration |
This pony was found setting in a pasture in Boise in 1999 where it had been parked since 1985. We brought it home in January 2001. It is 1 of 815 cars with the C6/429 Cobra Jet combination and was built April 29, 1971 at Dearborn. The combination of rare factory options such as rear window defrost, intermittent wipes and power windows mated with the mighty 429 Cobra Jet Ram Air powerplant (factory rated at 370hp) makes this a very rare car indeed. Motor and Tranny are the originals and are stamped with the car's serial number. The restoration began in earnest in Febuary 2001 and almost a year later here it is! We can't wait for next summer's cruise ins and show-n-shines, and maybe even a few runs down the 1/4 mile....
The car has been in Boise it's whole life. Sold by Bob Rice Ford May 12, 1971
Loaded with these ORIGINAL FACTORY OPTIONS: C-6, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Fold Down, Power Front Discs, Rear Spoiler, Air Conditioning, Rear Defrost, AM/8 Track, Console, Intermittent Wipers, Deluxe Belts/Warning lights, Tinted Glass, Power Windows, Sports Wheel Covers, Tachometer
