The featured Mustang for November 1998 is Zeke and Cathy's '68 fastback.
Its 302-4V engine puts out 230 h.p. to the 4 speed transmission. The original
color was Harvest Gold with parchment interior (bench seat), but has been
repainted Maroon at least twice. It was built at the San Jose plant and
delivered to Salt Lake City. The original axle was 3.0:1 open rear end, and
now has 3.50:1 Traction-Lok. It has had at least three owners in its life.
The engine has been modified with hi-performance cam, Holley 4V carb, headers,
and high-flow mufflers. It is equipped with power steering and (for now)
drum brakes.
