For this month, two members cars were chosen together since they both have the
same story, entitled One Expensive Rental Car.
In February of 1996, Tom and Mary and Michael and Shellie flew to Las Vegas, Nevada for a weekend of fun. The weather was a sunny 70 degrees. They went to the car rental agency and saw the convertible Mustangs and decided to upgrade their reservations to get one of these beauties for the weekend. It was an enjoyable ride taking them to Hoover Dam and cruisin' The Strip. Valets really liked to park the red 96 for them as well.
Once they returned to Boise, they all suffered from Mustang fever. Michael and Shellie promptly went shopping and found a very nice red 95 GT convertible. Tom and Mary shopped for a while since they wanted a classic, and finally found a red 66 convertible 289.
